Add a drop of essential oil to the pot of hot water to relax you further. Lean over the bowl and Breathe in through your nose and feel yourself start to relax.

Mix a quarter of an avocado, a tablespoon of cocoa powder and honey to form a thick hydrating paste. You can also try out the chamomile mix to soothe your skin. Simply mix brewed chamomile tea with a spoon of yeast and raw honey and rub it on your face. Allow the mixture sit on your face for 15 minutes, then rinse off.


If DIY facial products aren’t your thing, you can hop into the store and get any good facial cream or moisturize.


  1. Scrub Down


Apart from your hurried facials, when was the last time you scrubbed your entire body? Can’t remember? Then you are long overdue for a full-body scrub.


Pour some of your favorite body scrub on your loofah and spread it all over your body in circular motions. Pay extra attention to your legs, elbows, torso, feet, knees and bottom; they typically have a lot of dead skin. You will slowly but surely do away with the patchy dead skin and uncover the healthy layer underneath.


After exfoliating, rinse off the scrub and dry yourself off with a cotton towel.

While you wait for the treatment to penetrate your follicles, you can proceed with the other beauty treatments.

Your feet take you all around town, so it is only fair that you include them in your spa treatment. Thanks to all the work your feet do, they can become dry and cracked. So the best thing to do is soak them in a bath filled with warm water, some drops of essential oil and Epsom salt.


The warm water slowly softens up the calluses and soothes the cracks. After 30 minutes, you can take your feet out of the bath and scrub away with your pumice stone to remove the dead skin. Finish up your foot treatment with a hydrating foot.

What is a spa treatment without the good old pedicure? After your feet scrub, dry your feet and trim your nails. Next, file them into your preferred shape and paint them in your preferred color; you can use gel paint for better results.

Finish off your lip session by applying a moisturizing lip balm gently to your lips.
